My Love Letter to You

Dear You,

Life is hard (and becoming harder, it seems like). Uncertainty, anxiety, and fear are in high supply. No matter what you do, you just can't shake them. You often doubt yourself - that voice in your mind loudly broadcasts thoughts like "I'm not good enough, I can't do this, I'm a failure…" No amount of positive thinking makes you believe otherwise. With all the strategies you've wisely, yet unsuccessfully, used to get rid of anxiety, you wonder if there is something wrong with you or if you will always feel this way. It feels defeating. Exhausting. Hopeless, even.

I'm able to write about this because I've been here. I too know the grip of anxiety, the unstable ground of uncertainty and self-doubt, the frantic claws of fear. It sucks. In the pit of anxiety, life is small, restricted, dull, and full of unfulfilled longing. You know you don't want this forever. You know you want MORE for yourself, even if you aren't sure exactly what it would be. Not knowing how to get there only increases your distress.

Enough is enough, though. You've been waiting to live your life and take up space and be fully yourself for all this time! And something led you here, to this page. To the possibility of upward growth, change, and the end of a lifelong struggle. I'm so glad you let yourself arrive here. Because this isn't as good as it gets for you - not if you don't want it to be. Confidence, happiness, resilience, and F R E E D O M are on the other side, ready to be claimed and integrated.

Again, I can write about this because I've been here, too. And here is the place I prefer above all: Living authentically, freely, and fully without compromising my life to meet the demands of anxiety, fear, and uncertainty. If it sounds unattainable, I'm right there with you. I thought it was too. Thankfully for both of us, I was wrong: Living the life YOU want is absolutely within reach. As with any type of growth or change, there are a few requirements on your part to get where you want to go.

  1. Willingness. Are you willing to face what you've been avoiding, trying to escape, or ignore? Are you willing to experience temporary discomfort in order to build skills in effectively managing discomfort? Are you willing to try some new ways of dealing with anxiety, fear, and uncertainty to create more of the life you want.

  2. Commitment. Will you commit to this journey of growth and change? And, more importantly, will you continually recommit to this journey each time you mess up, get off track, or get discouraged?

  3. Investment. Will you invest in yourself by learning and practicing new skills? Will you invest in yourself by actively accepting support and help from others who may be closer to where you want to be? Will you invest in yourself by giving yourself permission to imagine a life outside of what you know?

If your answer is YES to these three criteria, then life is about to become more vibrant, full, and meaningful for you. I'm sure of it! (And if you aren't sure you can say "YES" to these criteria right now, perhaps there's something else that needs your attention before you begin this journey?)

I invite you to journey with me towards the life you truly want to live. You’ll be supported, encouraged, witnessed, and loved all along the way. Click the button below to get in touch and schedule a complimentary discovery call.
